Here we are, Ladies. This is two coats of Wet 'N Wild Carribean Frost, which went on smoothly. Then another two coats of Sinful Colors Green Ocean, then a topcoat.

I'm not too crazy on the close-up appearance of it, but from far away it is stunning.

Since Scrangie and Flavia at Similiar Attraction both reviewed Sephora's Blue Sapphire, I felt I should as well! I did agree that the bottle is teeny-tiny:

as well as the brush. The polish is a dark blue jelly silver sparkles. The formula wasn't the best, it had some dragging to it. I didn't really experience the tip-wear that the other girls did, that's probably because I layered it with Nfu-Oh #52 (scroll down to see the pics!) The color was very pigmented and it only took 2 coats. I'll stop taking, here are the pics! This is preclean-up all taken in Lamp Light.

Then since my Nfu-Oh order came in, I decided to add #52 to it.

I really like #52! It has a sheer base of a dark blue with green flakies! I love Nfu-Oh's more than I ever thought I would!

So this is Day 2 of my Sinful Colors System Challenge Retry (that's a little long!) And I am kinda pleased with the results. I applied another layer of Top Shine topcoat yesterday afternoon before the Grey's Anatomy crossover.
There is some wear on the tips and a bit of peeling on my thumb nail.
I'm going to try to keep this on over the weekend, but not too sure it is going to last that long.

I removed my polish from yesterday and reapplied one coat of each: Nail Hardener, Basecoat, Mama-San, and Topcoat.
But I FAILED!! Remember the laziness part? Well, not so much laziness as distraction. A little of both maybe. The bf was trying to talk to me from another room b/c he won't come in the same room as me when I am doing my nails, and I forgot to put the basecoat on my left hand! Then I didn't want to remove my left's np, so I thought it would be another test of the np.
I finished my left hand and I put the whole system (hardener, basecoat, mama-san, and topcoat) on my right. So here is my left hand with Urban Decay Potion in Sin:

It applied much nicer with one coat of everything. But I had to touch up the edges b/c of some dragging that had occurred.

Tonight I plan on watching Grey's Anatomy. Idk if I will watch the whole thing, since it is a cross-over episode I think it's extra long and I went to bed pretty late last night.

But before I watch all that I am going to add another coat of the topcoat and we will see what tomorrow brings.

OK, gals... This time I got the topcoat for the Sinful Colors System. If you recall in this post as a topcoat I used Zoya's Armor because that was all I had on-hand. But I made it to Walgreens and purchased the whole lot:

This color reminded me of Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin, so I compared it in a pic:

This stuff is awesome, by the way. Great color, stays put, and gives my eyeshadow that I put on after it a great shimmer. DON'T PASS THIS UP!

Even though it does kinda look like it in this pic, it really is darker with more of a pink hue.

I have had some gouges, but no chipping so far. This was really covered in one coat. I did 2 coats because there was some dragging and I wanted to cover it up instead of going back and doing it over again. *laziness strikes again!*

I also did some activities like workout,take a shower, and open a can of beanslater on that day. The workout was fine- a gouge. The shower was OK- some dragging started to occur. Then I opened the can of beans- nnnnnnoooooooo! HUGE GOUGE right on the side of my thumb nail!

I think I might redo this tonight because it is a really great color.

Onto Day 3 and the last day. I have come across many chips on 5 out of my 10 nails. On my left hand my thumb nail took more of a beating and my ring finger nail has a chip on the right side:

These pics really don't do the color or my nails justice. The color is awesome (still have not gotten it back from my friend, so I don't know the color) and I would say that for 3 days this system held up pretty well. I'm sure if I reapplied the topcoat everyday or every other day it would have held up longer.

Well onto Day 2. I have experienced some wear on my right hand's thumb:

I did use it to open up a package. ***nnnnnnnooooooooo*** I hear you cry. I know I'm not supposed to use my nails as tools but I had just received a glass nail file from eBay and I couldn't wait for my boyfriend to come around to open it. (I use him as my 'tool for opening things.'

Left hand looks pretty good:

Talk at you tomorrow. Then I will be taking it off possibly tomorrow night. So no posts for the weekend.

Left Hand:

Sorry for the bad quality, I was in the bathroom during class. I believe that the color I used was Jasminejazz, but I really can't remember. This is 2 coats and I don't know why the 2 middle fingers on both hands look so different. I only used 2 coats on ever nail. I think it was the lighting.

Anyways...I used one coat of the Nail Hardener, one coat of the Basecoat, two coats of the nail color, and one coat of Zoya's topcoat called Armor.

The application was not very smooth. My first coat was very streaky and I did a very light coat. It was kinda hard to get in the corners of my nails as well. When I was finished with the two coats, the color looked very matte. So I applied the topcoat, which really gave it a nice shine.

So I will be reporting back to you every day until I take the color off. Hopefully this system will be a nice alternative to buying the Zoya Color Lock System (a steep $48 if purchased altogether).
