I decided to go for an awesome shimmery, glittery polish for Chicago this weekend. So I pulled out OPI Ink. I have been wanting to try this one for the LONGEST time!
I took a ton of pics of this because it's soo beautiful. There are so many colors in here! Let's just get to the pics. This is 2 coats.

My cuticles are so shiny because I used vaseline around the nail before applying the nail polish. I found that it really works for me and makes cleaning up even easier, especially for a dark polish like this one.





So shimmery and glittery!

Do you have this one? It's just sooo awesome! You should get it!

Do any of you know if this is hard to remove like ChG Flying Dragon? It kinda reminds me of it. You know, packed with tons of little glitter and a b**ch to remove.

S. Vanessa Hailey from Casual Lavish asked me about this one. And I am really not good at describing colors. I think it's kind of a bubblegum cream. I really did not like this when I first put it on. Ever since I started blogging and checking out other blogs about nail polish, I have really gotten away from the pinks and reds because there are soo many other colors out there. Now that I have had it on for about 2 days I am really starting to like it.

What do you think? Have you checked out your Ulta yet?

Hello all! I had some time to kill today between my mom finally coming over to see the house and my best friend coming over (we have lived here for 2 weeks and neither of them had come to see it!). So I decided to do a 4th mani. I was thinking Konad and I was going to use plate m14:


but after I saw Colette @ My Simple Pleaseure firework mani, it got me thinking of the flowing stripes I used to do on my nails way back when before I heard about Konad. I thought the stripes really resembled fireworks the most, so I copied a teeny tiny bit :)











2 coats of SH Insta Dri in Whirlwind White
Art Club Blue Glitter (since this wasn't as dark as Red Glitter I also dipped the brush in ChG Frostbite)

Right now I am waiting for the bf to get home from his 1st 12-hour shift at the Fire Department. Then tomorrow we are going to relax during the day (hopefully) and head to his friend's parent's house to watch the fireworks. I got that new Off Fan, so we are going to test that out to see how good it is. Has anyone tried it yet? It's been sold out here, so it must be good, right?
What are your plans?

NOTD: Revlon Plum Seduction

The NOTD today is Revlon Plum Seduction. It is a new color to the Revlon family and I'm not too sure if I like it. It's a bright creme fuschia, I guess. I don't know it just doesn't do it for me, ya'know?

Since I didn't really get a 'kick' out of this color, I decided to 'glam it up' with OPI Paris Couture For Sure holo topcoat. Because everything deserves a little holo!

Whaddya'll think? I don't know if I would rock either of these very often. The holo on a bright creme fuschia just doesn't grab me. What about you?

Whoooh! That's a lot! Idk when I'll have time to actually try all of these!

I started to take individual pics in the sun, but I'm gonna have to try this a bit more to get a hang of it. Here's some:


Heres the purple/blues that I got:
Misa Fatal Affair (dark purple with a blue shimmer)
Essie Sexy Divide (not as dark as Fatal Affair shimmery purple)
OPI Play 'Til Midnight (shimmery dark blue)

Here's Creative Hotski to Tchotchke (shimmery teal blue):


I don't know if I took these right. I did it in direct sun with the camera on digital macro. Is that right?
I'm not the only one that likes the sun! This one kept getting in my way, so I had to hold the ones that I did take pics of in my hand!


This is my lovely Bella! She is the prettiest dog I have ever seen! She is a brindle AmStaff (American Staffordshire Terrier). Though she is a pitbull breed, the only 'bull' part is that she has to walk right next to you and push you out of the way when walking through doors. Or she has to walk right in front of you like she's the one 'leading the way.'
I believe that these dogs are not violent, it is how you train them. We spent a small fortune training her b/c when we got her she was scared of my bf and she wouldn't even walk on a leash!
About a month later, we got her back from her doggy day camp and she was a totally different, happy dog! She is now inseperable from my bf. He is the daddy and I am her puppy, not the mom. I went away for 3 days to Chicago for training from work and she wined the whole time. Wouldn't sleep or eat. The only time she slept is when my bf put one of my worn shirts by her and it would calm her down. The bf looked up her symptons and according to whatever he found, it said that she was having separation anxiety from her PUPPY!!! Oh, she is the best!

OK really a bad pic and bad application, but I'm not changing it!


And one of the worse pics on top of it!

I used

OPI Make Love 3 coats (4 on some b/c of streaking/dragging)

For the m65 Konad: Ulta brand np Totally Hot

This was extra hard to do b/c the stamper for Konad is RED!!! I didn't think about that going into it!

My first attempt I used Isadora Summer Red, but it was too runny. Then after I finished this horrid thing I topped it with Nail Tek II topcoat and it SMEARED

*sobs to herself AND hangs head in shame*

I'm afraid to ask what you think...but I will anyways

And any advice with Konading?

Sinful Colors System Challenge Retry (Day 2)

So this is Day 2 of my Sinful Colors System Challenge Retry (that's a little long!) And I am kinda pleased with the results. I applied another layer of Top Shine topcoat yesterday afternoon before the Grey's Anatomy crossover.
There is some wear on the tips and a bit of peeling on my thumb nail.
I'm going to try to keep this on over the weekend, but not too sure it is going to last that long.
